Divine Redeemer’s Early Childhood Development Center has been utilizing the cleaning devices from AVURA for almost a year in our early childhood classrooms. We have also implemented two machines in each of our large rooms used for gross motor play and dramatic play. The pulse cleaning devices utilize controlled levels of ozone to sanitize and deodorize the surfaces within the classroom. Onc the custodial services have been completed in the evening, one of the custodial staff will turn each of the machines on and allow the machine to run its 2-hour cycle. The machines sanitize all surfaces that can be touched by air. Many of our teachers choose to pull out toys that are stored in tubs and lay them on the table for the AVURA machines to sanitize, especially toys that may have been in a toddler or infant’s mouth. Our early childhood teachers are thrilled by the results and the decreased need to bleach toys by hand. In early childhood, we often battle waves of communicable diseases such as hand-foot-and-mouth disease, fifth disease, croup, etc. We have seen a decrease in cases since implementing the AVURA cleaning devices and our families have been thrilled by the results. Mount Calvary Christian Preschool and Childcare has been using the AVURA Pulse cleaning device in our center. They use a controlled level of ozone to eliminate airborne and surface pathogens on contact, which in our environment are many viruses that the children bring to us. We currently have two units in our center. Setting up and using the units is very easy. Our closing staff places them i our classroom and office as they are leaving for the night. When our opening staff comes in they say it smells like a rain storm came through during the night. It is nice to know that during the night our center is being sanitized – every inch from the carpets to the ceilings to everything in between. It is nice to have this extra precaution in our center as we deal with everyday common viruses as well as Covid, it brings great peace of mind to our families as well as our staff. Read more
